As association we support the vision that the very special artwork "Fountain of tears" from Rick Wienecke will be in Leipzig. For this purpose I travelled with our pastor and friends of that project to Arad. It is the illustration of a dialog between Jesus the crucified and a survivor of the Shoa. That is a challenge for both, Christians and Jews, to change the picture they have from Jesus and invites them for reconciliation. This work of art speaks directly to our heart. How extraordinary this dialog at first is, already in the chapters about the servant of god in the book of prophet Isaiah this dialog appears.

The artist illustrates that the crucified - in contrary to a long Christian tradition -  identifies himself with the destiny of his Jewish people.
